Volume Helical Sweep in Creo || Cluster mix
To create a volume helical sweep by sweeping a 3D sweep object along a helical trajectory.The 3D object removes material as it follows along the helical trajectory path, similar to a cutting tool in turning or grinding.
To define the helix, you define a helix profile, and a helix axis which is the axis of revolution for the helix.
When the system rotates the helix profile 360° around the helix axis, a surface of revolution is defined.
The helix and other references such as planes, axes, edges, or an axis of a coordinate system define the orientation of the 3D object along the helix. You can adjust the parameters of the helical sweep, such as the pitch which is the distance between coils,and the tilt of the 3D object.
1.On the Model tab, click the arrow next to Sweep, and click , Volume Helical Sweep. The Volume Helical Sweep tab opens.
2. To sketch or select the helix profile, which sets the distance from the 3D object origin to the helix axis, click the References tab, and define sketch.
To select the helix profile, click the Helix sweep profile collector, and select an open sketch.
To sketch the helix profile:
Click Define. The Sketch dialog box opens.
Set the sketch plane and orientation, and then click Sketch. The Sketch tab opens.

Optionally, to include the central axis of the helix in the sketch, click Sketch , Centerline in the Datum group, and sketch a geometry centerline to use as the central axis.
Click OK to exit Sketcher.
then your material is removed and give a checkmark
