In this video, we will be discussing the procedure of male Foley’s catheterization.
The patient is explained about the procedure and asked for consent. The patient is asked to undress below the waist and lie down comfortably on the bed with the legs slightly apart.
The procedure is not painful as a numbing agent is used. The procedure involves using a flexible tube in the patient’s penis into the bladder to relieve symptoms of urinary retention.
