Recon Helmet Texturing Tutorial 5 👉 • Blender Quixel Mixer Texturing Tutorial | ...
We start by making a new project file in Quixel Mixer, importing our helmet mesh that we exported from Blender in the previous tutorial, and then importing out baked normal, AO, and ID masks from episode 3.
We start out very simply with blocking out the main colours of the helmet and gradually building up additional layers of detail with variation in the albedo, roughness, and metalness channels that we drive through detailed and complex mask stacks.
