The Slash Les Paul™ Standard pays tribute to the instrument behind some of rock’s most memorable licks.
A solid mahogany body and AAA flamed maple top form the resonant foundation that has made the Les Paul a classic, while the mahogany neck—featuring a rosewood fingerboard, trapezoid inlays, and a 50s Vintage profile—keeps the feel authentically vintage for comfortable chording and smooth bends. And 22 medium jumbo frets ensure you’ll enjoy precise intonation and easy fretwork at every position.
Under the hood, a pair of Gibson Custom Burstbucker™ Alnico 2 pickups are meticulously voiced to capture the punch and sweetness that define Slash’s sound. Hand-wired electronics with Orange Drop® capacitors deliver smooth volume and tone transitions, letting you move effortlessly between searing leads and rich clean tones. Each Slash Collection Les Paul Standard arrives with Slash-approved Ernie Ball® strings and four Slash Jim Dunlop Tortex® picks—his personal choice for decades—making it stage-ready right out of the case.
