Rains stressed the bees, leaving the honeycombs empty
Dr. Orhan Ermetin, a faculty member in the Animal Science Department of Yozgat Bozok University's Faculty of Agriculture, stated that the abundance of rainfall, especially in Yozgat during April, May, and June, has negatively impacted beekeeping, saying, "Bees are stressed. Harvest time will be slightly delayed, and honey production will decrease further." Ali Sarı, Vice President of the Yozgat Beekeepers Association, also said, "Productivity will decrease by 50 to 60 percent compared to last year." #yozgat #beekeeping
