You heard of Unreal Engine, right? This new real-time rendering big
thing in the VFX industry. Everyone wants to use it, however, it is
hard to know exactly how to bring that video game software and
integrate it into your usual VFX workflow, especially while
maintaining feature film quality and work flexibility.
You can find a lot of information on how to use Unreal to render
images, yet you still wonder how to use it seamlessly with Nuke and
your classic compositing methods.
I’m here to offer you a complete step-by-step VFX guide from plate
tracking, keying, to rendering and integration using Unreal Engine 4
or 5 and Nuke.
This is more than 6 hours of content splitted and well organized in 90
videos.
Thanks to my VFX supervision and teaching experience, I was able to
put together this efficient workflow that I am sure would be
profitable for your work.
In this masterclass, Follow me through the integration of two green
screen shots; One key shot and its declination. We will build a
high-quality environment with the help of the Quixel library and
render it in Unreal, to efficiently comp the shots in Nuke.

in Nuke.

of Unreal Engine 5. However, You will find an extra chapter on how to
use Unreal 5 rendering with this course. As soon as the new Nuke

To follow this class, I would assume that you have the basics of
Unreal Engine Interface and that you are confident with compositing in
Nuke, I will go through Tracking, Keying, AOV compositing and image
finalizing.

in 2011, He obtains his master's degree of Arts and Technologies of Digital image with honours at the University Paris 8 in France.
He worked around the world on major feature films (Deadpool 2, Spider-man, Detective Pikachu for the latest).
Florian also created several interactive installations that have been showcased in major festivals (such as SIGGRAPH Los Angeles, USA or The light festival of Lyon, France).
