How to Root Palm Pre Step by Step
Sorry guys I no longer have my Pre....... I found out I am deploying soon to afghanistan and theres no service so I decided to sell it so i can can the most out of it. please go to precentral.net if you need help. those guys are geniuses
edit: . They changed where the extra lines are this morning. Its stops at 3 lines now. The remaining lines that are shown in the video were moved and condensed to a single line. just copy and paste this line, create username and password and then continue with the putty. The line can be found in the optware boot strap link

Oooops make sure your Palm Pre is in Dev mode before you do these steps.
On the Home Screen type in "upupdowndownleftrightleftrightbastart" once you do that a dev icon pops up. click on it. switch to the on position and it will automatically restart
Just trying to help out others since there was not a good video of how to root a Palm Pre with WebOS. If something needs to be changed let me know. I'm not used to making videos yet. Thanks for all comments good or bad :)
