How to set Google as the default search engine in Google Chrome
Sometimes, even in its own browser, Google Chrome can switch the search engine without you noticing.
If you want to use Google as your main search engine again, follow these steps:
1️⃣ Open your Chrome browser.
2️⃣ Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner (⚙️ Menu).
3️⃣ From the menu, select Settings.
4️⃣ In the left-hand panel, click Search engine.
5️⃣ In the “Search engine used in the address bar” section, choose Google from the drop-down menu.
6️⃣ That’s it! Close and reopen Chrome to confirm that the change has been applied.
💡 Tip: in the “Manage search engines and site search” section, you can add new search engines or remove the ones you don’t need.
