Fractals are one of the most powerful and visually striking effects in high-end VFX, and in this tutorial, I’ll show you how to create them entirely inside DaVinci Resolve, for free in less than 10 minutes!
This technique can be used to create cinematic energy patterns, abstract motion graphics, atmospheric effects, and complex procedural visuals without relying on expensive plugins like Sapphire or Boris FX.
This tutorial was heavily inspired by the work of Lokavision, who is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading fractal VFX artists. His work pushes the boundaries of what’s possible with procedural visuals.
