BELUGA. A Freshwater-Marine Legend and Caviar Worth Its Weight in Gold.
The beluga is the most legendary, valuable, and rare of all living fish, an absolute record-holder in every respect, and the source of caviar worth more than gold! It inhabited the Earth alongside dinosaurs and outlived mighty giants, but it failed to survive alongside humans: unwise human management has driven this priceless fish to the brink of extinction. Today, only a few dozen individuals remain in the wild, and they are raised on aquafarms for industrial use.
