I crocheted this beautiful short country house style jacket from top to bottom or from back to front. The design is very extravagant because it is more of a cape with sleeves and not a normal jacket. This means that this jacket is not made exactly to fit the figure, but needs more width than a normal jacket in order to drape so beautifully. This hearty jacket is made similarly to my Himmelstreppe cardigan. It is not very difficult to imitate, but requires more attention than the Himmelstreppe cardigan in terms of the different sizes, as well as repeated measuring or trying on, as the required width of the yoke is achieved more quickly than the required height of the yoke. We have to work our way together from sample set to sample set to the required size, although due to the way it is made, the jacket may be a little tighter for some of you and a little wider for others.
It is possible to use much thinner or much thicker material, but requires a certain amount of crocheting experience and initiative in the implementation, as I cannot address all eventualities in these instructions.
