SwitchBot Floor Lamp vs Regular Lamps | Home Assistant Control
In this video, I take a look at the SwitchBot Floor Lamp and show how it works with Home Assistant.
We start with a quick unboxing and setup, then I demonstrate RGB lighting with over 16 million colors, local control using the included remote, and Matter integration.
I also build a simple but very useful Home Assistant automation:
when the TV turns on, the Sonos lamp turns off and the SwitchBot Floor Lamp switches to a dim purple “Movie Mode” – perfect for watching movies without glare.
This lamp fits really well into a smart home setup and works great alongside Home Assistant automations.
