Set up of net core 2 2 in visual studio code | Creation of .net core console and web app using VS
First, we will see how we can set up the .net core in Visual Studio code.
first of all, I have to install the core SDK it provides some libraries that may be used in application development.
we can download .NET SDK from internet.
In this tutorial , we will do the implementation Visual Studio code.
Visual Studio code is very light weighted editor having functionality like syntax highlighter, intellisense support, and debugger for application debugging.
First We Install Extension for development in visual studio code.
Search C# extension powered by OmniSharp
Dotnet Core SDK having three things, .Net Command Line , .Net Core Libraries and .Net Core command line interpreter.
Create New Console project using VS code.
1. Create new working directory and write following command into VS code terminal.
Dotnet new console(Console is the project name)
2. To run project , dotnet run
To create new asp.net core web application run following command into terminal
Dotnet new webapp –o projectname
Cd projectname
Dotnet run
