Voice Typing - Android Accessibility Feature

For anyone with Dyslexia
or who struggles
to read or write
then the process
of typing out an email
or text message
can be extremely difficult
and time consuming.
Fortunately Android smartphones
have a feature
that could be very helpful
it's called “Voice Typing”
and it types out
what you speak
rather than have you
to type it in.
As mentioned,
the “Voice Typing” feature
is the ability of the device
to convert what the user says
into text.
Let’s see how it can be used.
We can begin
by opening the messaging app.
Select the person
that you want to
send a message to.
If this is the first time
you are using the feature
you will need to go into
the settings menu
above the keyboard.
And select Voice Typing
and then turn on the feature.
Back at the message
you will now see
a microphone icon
near to the keyboard
which we click on
to use this feature.

As you can see
that is a very useful feature.
You will also see a microphone
within the message box
this will allow you to record
a message and send it
as an audio file
rather than typing out
what you are saying
so in this case
we want to click
on the icon near the keyboard.

the “Voice Typing”
feature on your Android device.
