Map your music into light? Yes, now you can!
In the first of six tutorials of the EMU LED Mapping series, EMU Specialist Kim introduces the new Mapping page and shows how to define your LED layout so your lighting can mirror your physical setup in real time.
If you’re used to traditional stage lighting like PAR cans or moving heads, pixel mapping might sound complicated, but EMU makes it surprisingly simple. Using an intuitive visual canvas, you can place LED strips, panels or custom layouts exactly where they exist in your stage setup, then bring them to life with animated scenes that sync to your music.
In this video, Kim walks through the fundamentals of getting started with EMU’s LED Mapping feature, including connecting your controller, adding LED strips and arranging them on the mapping canvas.
By the end of this tutorial, you’ll have a working pixel-mapped layout ready for your show.
