Evaluate a Text Equation

This video shows how to evaluate or calculate an equation that is represented as a text value. Excel usually aligns numbers to the right of the cell and text to the left. In this case the "numbers" in the equation are aligned left so Excel is representing them as text. To keep the view of the text equation but also see the calculated result in another cell we can use an old Excel function called EVALUATE to do this.
