Logos’ sparse, “weightless” style has made him one of the instrumental grime scene’s most respected producers, co-founding the Boxed club night in London and collaborating regularly with Mumdance on their Different Circles label.
We’ve had Logos on our Against The Clock hit list since his incredible debut album Cold Mission dropped, and he finally took time off from his busy schedule and weekly Rinse FM show to lay down a 8-bar tune in 10 minutes.
Using just a DSI Tempest drum machine, Logic and a few plug-ins, Logos shows just how much you can do with a few tools and a few cold, eerie sounds. Listen to the finished track below.
