The Dodge Dart is an automobile built by the Dodge division of the Chrysler Corporation. The vehicle was produced from 1960 to 1976 in North America, with production continuing for several years in other markets.[1] In 1960 and 1961, the Dart was introduced as a short-wheelbase, economy-sized Dodge car; it became a mid-size car in 1962, and was finally a compact in the United States from 1963 to 1976.[2] Chrysler had applied the "Dart" name to a 1956 Ghia-built show car.
