Small and Large Bathroom Remodeling Projects: Is there a bath too big or too small for DreamMaker?
Are you wondering if DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen is a good fit for your bathroom remodeling project? Choosing a remodeling contractor to work with is an important process to work through. This video helps explain three very basic categories that bathroom renovations typical fall in to.
1. Smaller projects where we're just going to replace a single item in a bathroom that is no longer functional or perhaps just very dated. Examples might be replacing a vanity, cutting out a fiberglass tub shower enclosure and installing a new walk in shower enclosure. It's a matter of extracting the old and putting in new without disturbing the rest of the space.
2. The second one would be "pull and replace". Often this is a traditional, 5' x 8' or 5' x 10' bathroom where the layout really only works in its original layout. It is a remodel of a bathroom where we basically take everything out and put all new back in, new items all in the same locations of where the old items were. So it's going to typically be a tub shower enclosure, toilet, and a vanity. Pretty basic, pretty simple.
3. Full remodel. Which typically is going to be in a space that's a little bit bigger. It may involve repositioning fixtures - relocating the vanity, moving and enlarging the shower, removing the whirlpool tub that is never used. Sometimes it is removing a wall, adding a half wall, grabbing space from an adjoining closet, or incorporating washer and dryer in the master suite.
So one of the questions we often hear from clients is "Well, how small of a project will you do for somebody?"
