Stackby Onboarding and Review: Spreadsheets Powered By APIs
A while back we did a video on Fieldbook ( https://www.techsmartboss.com/blog/ho... ), it was an Airtable alternative that was perfect for a Tech Smart Boss.
Unfortunately, they were acquired and closed down the service.
We've been looking for an alternative since then and in this video, we finally found one, Stackby ( https://www.stackby.com ).
Stackby lets you create or upload spreadsheets and tie them together like a virtual database. But the real power is in the ability to connect data to APIs for lookups and automated pre-filling of data.
The number of APIs are currently limited, but the potential in this solution is amazing.
In this video, I set up a brand new Stackby account, and step through all the features on the backend, including seeing what their demo stacks look like.
