GIMP is GNU Image Manipulation Program and it is FREE to use unlike some of the industry standard Image Processing Softwares. This software also runs on average computers and even though the interface is not very user friendly, it does work almost like an expensive photo editing program.The software is available cross platform and can be downloaded from the following links:
