How to Verify VIN Yourself (Check Digit Calculation)
Today I decided to try and make a little calculator using excel to calculate the check digit number in your VIN. This way you don't have to use any external website and you get a better understanding of what a check digit is and how to personally calculate it. Hopefully this helps anyone if they wanted to personall check their VIN and verify it. If your check digit is correct then your VIN has not been tampered with or has not been made up..If the check digit is wrong however...then you've got yourself a problem!
