I just recently heard about this, apparently Amazon Merch is beta testing a new bulk upload feature.

I first heard about this from Hawk the other day. Apparently Amazon had sent him a survey asking about selling sweatshirts and hoodies. They asked what he thought of them, how they sold, what would make him upload more, etc, etc, etc.

In a follow up e-mail they offered him the chance to beta test a new bulk upload feature which would allow you to automatically create listings for sweatshirts and hoodies when you created a tee shirt listing.

This feature has not been rolled out to me personally yet so I havn't had a chance to see how it works or what the process looks like, however I would imagine that when you upload a tee shirt there will be a check box, you could click for sweatshirts and hoodies, and by clicking that box your design would be automatically uploaded to those products in addition to just the tee shirt. This would be different from the current setup where even if your uploading the same design, you still have to go through the tedious process of uploading a file, selecting colors, writing title, bullet points and description for a sweatshirt. Then going back and doing that all over again for a hoodie. This new feature, if it winds up being rolled out to the masses would be a huge time saver in that you could create 3 listings off one action, as opposed to how it currently is where you have to individually go in and create every single product.

This would be similar to Redbubble and other sites where you only have to upload one design and create one listing and your shirt is automatically featured on like 20 products at once from mouse pads to mugs to sweatshirts.

Has anyone else had this feature rolled out to them? If so drop a comment below, tell us what this process looks like and how you like it so far. If anyone doesn't mind sending a screenshot of what this process looks like please shoot some over to me at [email protected] if you don't mind sending it over so I can share it with everyone.
