Shape your light to create a softlight or a hardlight
In this video I show you HOW you can reproduce a hard light or a soft light, with David Liam's help as a guest.
On one hand the hard light creates sharp shadows, you see this light everyday in the sunset, or when it's sunny.
It's a light you can sculpt easily with black flags, a light you can use to make drop shadows, silhouettes, and many effects with smoke or water.
On the other hand, soft light is ... soft, rather blurry, the light is spreading in every direction. Soft light is flattering for the skin, it's a light you see when the weather is cloudy.
What kind of projectors do you use ?
