2000HP GrubbWorm Stick-Shift Camaro Recap From
Jonathan, owner and founder of Tick Performance, takes his 1997 2,200hp Camaro to World Cup Finals in Maryland with hopes of taking home the win in the Outlaw Stick Shift Class. See a host of fast stick shift cars try for the title.
Rewind to last month at #fl2k in October, Jonathan set the overall quickest H-pattern stick-shift record against some of the quickest stick-shift cars in the drag racing community. We made some slight modifications, and a new parachute setup and recertified harness were the main highlights of the changes.
#TeamTick members made up a good chunk of the stick shift class, and consequently, Jonathan ended up racing against a few. Notable Robert Miller (Stick Shift The World), Chris Moore (MooreHP), Sean Madden (NXTShift), Nick Coleman, and Nathan Roatenberry.
We are happy and thankful to have had a troublesome yet safe weekend at the races and while we weren’t able to finish the job and win the race we showed what GrubbWorm can do and will be putting the world on notice come 2023 with this hot new setup so be ready to see some hot passes and maybe even new records!
