In the heart of a cold and silent mountain, Ruqia, a resilient nomadic woman with calloused hands and a heart full of love, is the guardian of several adopted children. Every day, life is a new test of patience and love for her. Fatima and Reza, her two innocent children, write their dreams in their school notebooks; and Ruqia, with eyes full of hope, sees them off the mountain. Little Abbas, her constant companion, follows her mother's footsteps and accepts hardships with a smile. Ruqia carries firewood on her shoulders and picks red barberries from the thorns.
