I wandered the streets of different neighborhoods with a completely different to-do list.
It's time to be a tourist in Istanbul again! I started with the Istanbul Archaeological Museum on the historical peninsula and concluded with fish on Burgazada and Ergün Patisserie's mille-feuille.
I discovered new ones in the historic districts of Beyoğlu and Pera and welcomed the unchanging ones.
I learned about the world's teas and delved into the world of tea at Dem Istanbul in Kadıköy. In Eminönü, I visited Beta Han and Hocapaşa Pidecisi in Tahtakale, and I saw how a historic inn has survived to this day.
In Üsküdar, I wandered through the traces and stories of women from Mihrimah Sultan to Florence Nightingale.
I visited Kanaat Lokantası, a historic restaurant.
Oh, I'm tired just writing.
I've touched on so much in such a short time.
