Since you've so enjoyed the shorts on the subject, I decided to dedicate a video to them so those who don't watch vertical content can catch up.
In an interview a few years ago, Akira Toriyama revealed that Number 16 was created based on the appearance of Dr. Gero's deceased son.
Does this add or take away from the story? No, it just enriches the lore a bit. Until it was included in Dragon Ball Super – Super Hero, where we're introduced to Gebo, Gero's son in the family tree. He's also the son of Vomi, whom we met in Dragon Ball FighterZ as Number 21.
As we know, Toriyama is no longer with us, but Dragon Ball will not stop. And just as this little revelation was fished out and inserted into one of the most beautiful films in the saga, it's possible the same will happen with the ones I'll tell you about in this video.
