Transparent Network Substrate (TNS), a proprietary Oracle computer-networking technology, supports homogeneous peer-to-peer connectivity on top of other networking technologies such as TCP/IP, SDP and named pipes. TNS operates mainly for connection to Oracle databases.TNS: Transparent Network Substrate: Oracle relies on TNS to provide network connectivity between Oracle databases, regardless of underlying protocols. This is an oracle network technology that is user-transparent.
Step-02: Location of TNS:
DevSuiteHome_1\NETWORK\ADMIN
Step-03:Create TNS:
-start button
-all programs
-Devsuitehome1
-configuration and migration Tools
-net configuration assistant
-select local net service name configuration
-add
-write service name (database name)
-TCP
-write host name (local host/real-ip)
-change login (any schema)
-write service name (anything)
