Vorpal DMT vs Le Monarque Poison Damage. (Super Regen)

Just wanted to test if Le Monarque's damage over time would count towards your super regen in the new super recharge changes where damaging enemies will cause you to recharge your super faster. Both Dead Man's Tale and Le Monarque will have anti-barrier mods in the Witch Queen DLC update.
The poison seems to also be a factor in your super regen which may also work inside of the Crucible, however it may or may not have the same rate as it is inside of PvE.
Theory; The poison damage deals very little damage however there's a minimum super energy that's given below a certain damage numbers. In this case the poison damage counts as individual damage but doesn't give a lot of super however it does tick for a lot which may profit than just dealing more total damage output.
