Hike with channel subscribers! Scaredi - In la Piana - Vald 🏔 VAL GRANDE (VB)
This was my first "membership hike," and of course I couldn't choose anywhere else but Val Grande! During this two-day Valgrande hike, we entered through Scaredi, spent the night in In la Piana, and exited on the second day via Vald and the Bocchetta di Cavalla pass.
It was a great pleasure meeting some of you, and I really hope to be able to offer more similar hikes (even one-day ones) in the future!

The proposed trek captures the spirit of the Park. Entering from the "north gate," we will have the opportunity to walk through places with very different environments; From the expansive views of Scaredi and the Bocchetta di Vald, to the vast beech forests in the heart of the Park, nestled in narrow valleys, through streams and ancient paths.

DAY 1
Meeting at Fondo li Gabbi (1238 m above sea level), after a gear check, we will set off towards Scaredi and then In la Piana (970 m above sea level), where we will spend the night, then enter the heart of the Park.
Elevation gain: 680 m
Length: approximately 11 km
Time: 4 hours (excluding stops)
DAY 2
Departing from In la Piana and climbing to Bocchetta di Vald (1,823 m above sea level), then returning to Fondo li Gabbi, this is the most challenging day of the trek.
Elevation gain: 1300 m
Length: approximately 13 km
Time: 5:30 hours (excluding stops)
