The Starship Endeavour is sent to the star system Wolf 359 to contact the inhabitants of the inner planet and study the system’s two planets, but what they find is a people desperately clinging to life on a failing space station and on an unstable continent below, where only synthetic life forms are inhabiting the continent, the humanoids having been driven off or killed. Part 1 of 2.
About Wolf 359: This star is a cool red dwarf star located in the constellation Leo. It is a flare star, and is thought to have two planets orbiting it.
About O’Neill cylinders: These are hypothetical rotating habitats that were they to actually exist, could house billions of inhabitants.

After my humble beginning video called "Space Happy", I began looking at the fact that Star Trek fan films, and indeed Star Trek the original series rarely, if ever, discussed any scientific facts. Instead they simply make things up, often preferring to deal with social and political issues which have no place in a science fiction film.
Today I work to include both real exoplanets and deal with scientific facts in my fan films. I also create my own alien vegetation and sometimes alien nasties too. Nowhere else will you find someone referencing things such as the mystery fires in Canneto, Italy ("Fire Crisis") or the Bermuda Triangle ("Bermuda's Triangle"). Nowhere else will you find someone using real exoplanets in their plots, or discussing their suns and gravity. That is a feature that I added along the way.
Yes some Star Trek fan films feature people standing around talking about political and social issues, rather than exploring the galaxy. If that is what you expect to see, you won't find it here.
