TBC - Move Objects - Field Data Edition Commands
The move command in CAD software allows users to relocate objects from one position to another. Located under the edit panel on the CAD tab, the move command prompts users to select an object, such as a piece of text like a stop bar. Users can specify the initial location and the destination for the object. The command also supports 3D movement, enabling dragging similar to the copy command, but instead of duplicating, it relocates the object. Users select the starting point and the target location for the move. For example, moving an object down involves selecting the initial point and clicking on the desired new position. This functionality applies to various objects, allowing them to be moved from one location to another. If needed, actions can be undone using the control Z command. Additionally, the move command supports 3D moves, allowing objects to be moved by a delta elevation, providing flexibility in positioning within a three-dimensional space.
