Excel Number Formatting using Format Cells Dialog Box - Format cells dialog box contains 6 tabs and first one is Number Tab which have more controls for formatting numbers than Ribbon commands and shortcut keys. It can be accessed thru 4 ways one thru keyboard (Ctrl + 1) and three thru mouse.
Number Tab in the format cells dialog box contains 12 number formats out of which 10 are there in the Ribbon command and the balance 2 are Special and custom.
Each number format has more controls and go in to each one and see its options in detail.
