This group began life as a Sencha/Ext JS focused group, but we decided that there's simply too much interesting stuff going on in web app development today to limit ourselves to a single technology. We'll still discuss Ext (and especially Sencha Touch) when relevant, but our newly-expanded focus is on keeping up with the latest trends in the overall web application space. Regardless of your specific background or current technical stack, anyone who wants to be a well-rounded developer and keep a finger on the pulse of modern development will love this group.

Web App by Example: Node.js
This month's Node talk will be presented by me (Brian Moeskau - @bmoeskau) and my meetup co-organizer (Corey Butler - @goldglovecb). I've been building a production architecture based on Node for the past year, and Corey has authored several applications and frameworks in Node over the past few years.
After the talks we'll head a block over to Buffalo Billiards to continue the discussion with anyone who's interested. We're really looking forward to it and hope to see you all there!
