Video Rendering Error 50 in iMovie 10.0.2 | Tutorial 32
Solutions below are for video rendering errors -50 and 10008.

Solution #1:
Create a new movie.
Press cmd + A to select all edits from broken movie
Press cmd + V in new movie.
Delete old movie.
Click Share, Did it work?
Solution #2:
Take a backup prior to proceeding.
I ended up having to go in and remove the Render Files from my project. Find the iMovie Library then right-click and "Show Package Contents." From there locate your project and browse to the "Render Files" folder. I then went into the three folders therein and deleted all the subcontent (folders/files) leaving only the three parent folders. Then open iMovie and allow the Thumbnails, Peak Data and High Quality Media re-render then try to share again.

Solution #3:
Apple really should make it more apparent what that error message means. Evidently, "Video rendering error: -50" means that there is a bad/corrupt file or image type in the project. Cutting the project into halves does help identify the bad clip.
Solution #4: video rendering 10008
Usually this error is caused by corrupted media and can be tedious to find the bad clip or transition. One approach is to expand the timeline and skim through it slowly to see if you can spot any anomaly. Another option is to duplicate the project for safety purposes and then delete portions of the timeline and try to share. Eventually you should find the bad media. It is a process of elimination.
