In this video, a ServerFlow expert will explain in detail how to set up wireless WiFi networks on Mikrotik routers using the WinBox utility.
Instructions:
1. Add a WiFi interface to the Bridge. Go to the Wireless (Wireless Tables) section and add a WiFi interface to the Bridge.
2. Create a security profile. For WiFi to work, you need to create a security profile. Specify the encryption method and set a password for the network.
3. Configure the WiFi interface. In the Wireless Tables section, configure the WiFi interface. It's important to select the AP Bridge operating mode. For best compatibility with older devices, we recommend using Band 2GHz-B/G/N.
4. SSID and Security. Enter the SSID (network name) and select the previously created security profile.
5. Monitor connections. After activating the WiFi module, you can monitor devices connected to your WiFi network and view their MAC addresses in the Registration tab.
Therefore, setting up WiFi on Mikrotik routers is no more difficult than on equipment from other brands.
