Custom Analysis using Raster Cell Iterator
This demonstration will introduce the ArcPy Raster Cell Iterator and how it can be used to create your own custom analysis scripts. Raster Cell Iterator, or RCI for short, allows you to visit every cell location in a Raster object. The iterator makes it easy to query and modify cell values at each cell location and at neighboring cell locations. We will begin with a quick tour of the basic operations that can be performed with RCI. Following which, we will look at a few application case studies that demonstrate how you can apply RCI to solve real-world problems.
