Drunkard Kolyun went to the Bird Market to "scrounge" some money for his morning fix. Instead of his usual freebie, he was handed a dog—and forty rubles to boot. Only when he got home did he realize it wasn't just any dog: it spoke with a human voice and definitely wouldn't let Kolyun drink alone anymore.
