Building a Log Cabin Alone is Not Easy
Despite some early setbacks and less-than-ideal weather. Things have turned around and I"m back to stacking logs. The only problem here today is the wall height is now exceeding my tractor loader max lift height. Guess I"ll have to get creative if I keep going up. I'm also making my way slowly through the securement of each row of logs using my 10year old (or more) 18v power tools. My old drill has certainly had some miles put on it and owes me just about nothing but I"m here again calling on it to save the day ever since my generator quit on me. Let's just hope I've got enough batteries on hand to at least drive in a few timber screws. It may not always be the fastest or the most efficient but at the end of the day you've got to use what you've got available I always say. With that, here we go!
