BUILDING THE BEST MACRO | WoW Pickpocket Macro
Today we're talking about wow macros and how they work, and we're specifically using pickpocket macros to explain some of the nuances.
This is an example of mindset and how you'd build a macro out, so feel free to use these basic techniques in your healing macros or pvp shenanigans.
If you're coming back to this video just to copy paste, the three macros I use are:
Mouseover Macro
/cast [@mouseover] Pick Pocket
/tm [@mouseover] 1
Scroll Wheel Macro
/targetenemy
/cast pick pocket
Target Nearest Macro
/cleartarget
/targetenemy
/cast pick pocket
Chat Box Count, replace heavy junkbox with whatever you're tracking
/script a = GetItemCount("Heavy Junkbox"); if a==b then b=a else print(a.." Junkboxes Looted"); b=a end
One thing you may notice is that these aren't actually very complicated (with the exception of the counting one). A lot of this comes from Blizzard improving the tab target system in legion, and continuously improving the macro conditionals.
If you have any questions, ask down in the comments and I just want to add that legion introduced @cursor, which is great for things like efflorescence and @self, which by default is the Alt modifier, but now it's macroable.
