5 Fish With Weird Teeth
In this video I will be going through 5 fish with weird teeth. In the animal kingdom there are many different creatures with very weird teeth and these teeth usually give us a clue as to what they feed on. Carnivores have very different teeth to herbivores. In the Worlds rivers and oceans there are also plenty of fish that have very strange teeth.

For our first fish with strange teeth we will be heading to the colder parts of the Atlantic ocean as we have the Atlantic wolffish. The Atlantic wolffish is a predatory bottom feeder and uses it's strange teeth to feed on hard shelled foods such as starfish and crustaceans.
For our next fish with strange teeth we will be heading to the wester Atlantic as we have the hogfish. The hogfish has one of the weirdest mouths in the animal kingdom as it looks like a crocodiles mouth and nothing like that of a fish. The hogfish got its name as it likes to root around in the substrate to look for food.
For our next fish with weird teeth we will be heading to the indo pacific as we have the parrotfishes. There are over 90 species of parrot fish alive today and most of them are very colourful and pretty species. Parrot fish have some of the strongest teeth in the world which they use to eat coral.
For our next fish with strange teeth we will be heading to the coastal waters of Australia as we have the port Jackson shark. The port Jackson shark is a relatively small species of shark that mostly eats crustaceans and hard shelled foods.
For our final fish with weird teeth we will be heading to the kelp forests as we have the California sheephead. This large wrasse uses its strong teeth to keep the kelp forests free of sea urchins.
