Position: Systems Administrator (#SCCM)
Location: Aberdeen, MD

Summary:
The SCCM Engineer will be responsible for software distribution and patch management as well as building and deploying software packages to workstations. The selected candidate will provide administration support for software package development and configuration management and will research and evaluate software and hardware technologies. The SCCM Administrator will have prior experience managing Microsoft SCCM deployments in a large-scale environment; oversaw deployments of large and complex applications targeted for mass audience. The Engineer will be responsible for providing 3rd level infrastructure support, and assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of SCCM, and client workstations. The selected candidate will possess a good understanding of the SCCM infrastructure including boundaries, site server roles, and parent/child relationships.
-Advertise and manage packages and collections in SCCM environments.
-Experience with Operation System deployment using SCCM.
-Proficient in the use of scripting languages. (VBScript, PowerShell)
-Create software packages, task sequences, software deployments.
-Administers Windows Server 2012 and server 2016 -Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy (user accounts, managing access controls, and domain structure configuration)
-Working knowledge and hands on experience with SCCM Current Branch / SCCM 2012 R2
-Responsible for writing and maintaining procedural and design documentation
-Analyze, optimize, and integrate applications and services
-Tier III support with in-depth knowledge of desktop/application troubleshooting
-Experience providing Windows Desktop application deployment solutions and support in a large environment using SCCM.
-Thorough understanding of Active Directory; including replication, GPO and DNS.
-Extensive knowledge of Windows operating system patching, enterprise class desktop hardware and software.
-Remote management and troubleshooting.
-Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking for LAN and WAN.
-Advanced knowledge of registry, permissions, and drivers and software required.
