This is yet another video in the starter series for Dark Souls 2 from The Classic Gamer. In this video, GtVSlayer discusses and shows you how to get started with a deprived class character. We go for a melee focus with the Caestus, whip and bow--and share how to get into DS2. We go for some item drops trying to get a quick boost. This video will take you from character creation into Majula, ending at the second bonfire in Forest of Fallen Giants. This strategy video guide can be adapted for any character build you choose in Dark Souls II. We get early Silk and Smooth Rock drops, rock the backstab and kidney punch. We bypass the hedge knight and ogres in the starting area because we aren't properly equipped to deal with them yet. GtVS offers advice for whip, cestus, and other dexterity based (At least partially) melee characters.
