Anal canal & faecal continence (anatomy)
At the end of the gastrointestinal tract we find the anal canal, and some surprisingly interesting anatomy! There are 4 structures that work together to maintain faecal continence, so let's have a look at them. We'll also look at the ischioanal fossa while we're in the region.
