We bought another Trailblazer for $460! - Buying a car for parts
In this video, my father-in-law and I head out of town to purchase a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS EXT for only $460! The catch? It’s got a blown engine! But Daninator, why would you buy another Trailblazer when you already own one? Especially one with a blown engine? I’m glad you asked. I’m needing PARTS! I’m going to part out this Chevy Trailblazer to repair the one I already own.
I priced new parts for my Trailblazer and it totaled nearly $900. Time for this cash-strapped-dad to look for alternative ways of fixing my Trailblazer. I turned to craigslist and found an 04 Trailblazer that had some new parts installed on it (parts I’m needing) only to have the engine blow just a short time later. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure!
