In this webinar we demonstrate how to use MicroFile+, our new and freely available desktop application, to convert microscopy image data from various proprietary file formats into the standardized OME-TIFF and JPEG2000 formats.
MicroFile+ preserves all source image metadata throughout the conversion process and allows users to edit and add metadata fields. Additional hardware and experimental metadata can be added to the converted images when necessary (e.g. scaling, objective, and histological labels or stains). This ensures that a consistent set of imaging-specific metadata, for primary and derivative imaging data is included in experimental datasets.
