Door lock repair ZAZ 1102 TAVRIA/Slavuta
A very common problem on Tavria/Dana/Slavuta vehicles after the lock wears out is that due to increased play, one of the lock components moves back further than intended. This causes the lock to jam. The video shows what to do in this case. You don't have to cut the latch off like I did; you can simply bend it to the side. But be prepared for the possibility that you might have to buy a new lock.
