Responding to JK Rowling's tweets
So JK Rowling recently insisted that "people who menstruate" is denying ciswomen from articulating their vagina-specific experiences. I am trying to explain why that is transphobic.
Sex is as much a spectrum as gender is, and is also socially constructed. In the freedom of trans people lies our freedom from the oppression and fixity of neat bodies created by science.
Update: It was brought to my notice that I again ended up using the wrong pronoun for Alok. They can kill me this time!! :(
