Biggles - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack - 1986 Full vinyl LP
This is the soundtrack album from a 1980s film which has a very special place in my heart for nostalgic reasons, as it’s one of the first movies I remember seeing in the cinema, as a nine year-old back in 1986. I remember loving it back then, even if it doesn't quite hold up as well to my more refined middle-aged sensibilities now.
I was idly looking for the soundtrack recently and discovered it was never released on CD, and isn't on any of the music streaming services. There is an upload on YouTube but for some reason it's in mono; so I thought I'd get hold of my own copy of the 1986 LP and do a dub for good old times' sake.
It is notable largely due to Yes frontman Jon Anderson singing the lead song 'Do You Want To Be A Hero'. Also the track 'No Turning Back' by The Immortals was co-written and performed by Queen bassist John Deacon.
Also I've freshly photographed the cover here and even uploaded the video in 4K.
